Pros

There are great people throughout the company, which is why some of these posts will tell you it's better than what the many, many other posts are telling you. Unfortunately, those great people are not at the top of the company.

Cons

Simply put: the CEO and the President can't be trusted. They will put on a great face and tell you everything you want to hear- they'd be great used car salesmen. (You can search YouTube for what happened the one time the CEO didn't put on his happy face) But they'll never tell you what's actually happening at the company, including that they laid off over 100 of your co-workers. If confronted, they say it was out of their hands. Seriously, they laid off over 100 people over three rounds and the CEO did not say a single word about it to the company. Do you really want to work at a place where the CEO won't say anything about folks losing their jobs unless he is confronted, and then all he says is the layoffs were out of his hands? That doesn't exactly exude competence or leadership you can get behind.

Pros

I met some of the best people I know at this company. They were all so kind, smart, and hard working, and I learned so much in working with them.

Cons

It's very possible that economically the company was in a tough place anyways, but I don't think it should've been reflected so aggressively in the way they started treating employees. I didn't appreciate being treated like a kid who could only work well under supervision, while most of the company remained remote. Not only that, but there was a major discrepancy between the treatment of those who were in office vs those who were remote, the latter also losing benefits. The layoffs were handled poorly, the townhall leak was somehow handled even worse, and they killed DEI right after the CEO said what he did. Career pathing at the company is non-existent and the pay isn't up to industry standard. When I brought everything up in my exit interview, they acknowledged that everyone who had left before me had said the same things, but there was nothing they could do about it.
