      Pros

      It's a very good working environment. Friendly and caring people, strong emphasis on research, encourage self development... overall a good experience

      Cons

      I can't really think of any cons. Even if there are any, they would probably be the same problems that are common in similar companies

      Pros

      Free tuition (but limit of two courses per semester if your supervisor approves).

      Cons

      No longer feels like a college, now its runs like a corporation. Very top heavy....tons of VPs hired in at 6 figures while staff make 40K and can't get raises. Very little promotion from within, most jobs filled by outsiders. The SEIU Union does nothing to prevent this. Staff moral is at all time low. Most are trying to get jobs elsewhere and get out. Many departments run by faculty who have been professional students for years and have never worked real jobs. And no one really cares enough to find out right answers for students, hence the reason students are given several different answers.
