Pros
- The people! Everyone is different (and celebrated for their differences), but it seems like we all share the same general values, appreciation of humor, and supportive personality. Kindness is valued here far over ruthlessness.
- The culture! Remote work is totally fine here, but the office is an amazing treat to work at as well. We have lots of fun after working hard.
- The leadership! My managers have proven to really care about my career growth, my personal obstacles, and are always encouraging rather than managing from a place of fear. I like them as people, I respect them as leaders, and I feel valued always.
- Benefits! Recently we gained some even better benefits including vision, pet insurance, gym membership, and more. Best dental and medical coverage I've ever had, period.
- Salary! I got exactly what I asked for, no haggling involved. I see colleagues who work hard and show up get promoted/ raises/ awards and I feel like I will soon experience the same, and I do not have to sacrifice my personal life and sanity to do so.
Cons
- The platform itself is a beast and takes a while to learn. I felt like people were very patient with me as I learned, however, and it just took some time to get.
- As a start-up there is always some growing pains or times where processes change as growth occurs, teams grow, and needs change. Just be patient and solution-based and it's not a big problem.
