Pros

The people are truly the best part of ClickUp. They are empathetic, passionate, incredibly talented, and always willing to help each other. There is no "not my job" energy, and it's infectious. The culture is intentional and values-driven. “Don't be normal," “embrace hard work, do hard things," and "grow 1% everyday" aren’t just flashy slogans. They are lived out every day, in every way! Remote-first without losing the sense of connection. Great investment in async collaboration and cross-functional communication. Using the tool itself, which is built for companies like this, makes it so much easier. Leadership is transparent, approachable, and genuinely committed to employee growth and well-being. They want you as an individual to find success, not just as an employee. You feel empowered to make an impact, regardless of your title or location. There is always space to be heard and to drive change. ClickUp rewards those who challenge the status quo and push the boundaries. Exceptional opportunities to work on exciting cross-functional projects, influence processes, and build something meaningful that you can be proud of. Everyone at ClickUp believes in ClickUp. Both its current and future state. Benefits and pay are competitive, and the company prioritizes flexibility and autonomy. They want the best work and will invest in the right talent and people to get it. You will be rewarded and feel valued if you put in the hard work. I’m still learning and growing four years in, but I'm mostly just grateful to be here every day!

Cons

Even though ClickUp does a great job of keeping people connected online, as a remote employee, I do wish there were more opportunities to meet my teammates and coworkers in person. While the virtual culture is strong, occasional in-person connections would be a great supplement. This is likely just based on the department, however, as plenty of other teams do meetups both on and off site, I am just not generally one of them. A nice gesture for remote employees of any company could be a voluntary visit to HQ once a year simply to be in the office and work. There doesn't always have to be an agenda. Like many fast-growing startups, things can move quickly, which is exciting but requires a level of adaptability and self-direction. There are a lot of changes. Sometimes, a lot of changes happen in one day, and it can be difficult to manage and compartmentalize, especially if you're on the ground level with the product and interface with clients.

Pros

Great Benefits Great Management Work-Life Balance Competitive Salary Fats Paced environment where you'll learn & grow No micromanagement!

Cons

They lowered some of the benefits in PH when ClickUp became an entity in PH. Previous benefits were better. I hope this does not become a trend. Too many and too fast changes - can be challenging. Complex/Robust product - not for the weak at heart, lol. Should have a better way of training, rolling out changes, and the like.

Pros

I have been at ClickUp for a number of years now and had the chance to watch it grow from about 200 employees to over 1000. A lot of companies haven't been able to navigate the economic struggles of the tech world over the last few years, Fortunately, ClickUp has not only managed, it has thrived. Here are some of the reasons why in my opinion: Exceptional Collaboration - ClickUp gives you the opportunity to work cross functionally and not feel pigeon-holed into doing one job. This is still a startup and you can expect to wear a lot of hats and be given a lot of responsibility Open Communication with Management - Leadership is very transparent about the state of the company and our growth projections. The people that work here have vested interest in the success of the company and that drives everyone to work harder together Navigating Change - ClickUp moves very quickly when making changes. This can rub some people the wrong way but that is the nature of why some startups fail and others succeed. If you can roll with the punches and bring value to your department, you will be rewarded. Positive and Uplifting Work Atmosphere - ClickUp's leadership team is very strong. Everyone feels that we are being led in the right direction and it shows from the way they choose their managers. All of the managers I have had here at ClickUp have lifted me up to be the best CSM I can be. I am still learning and still growing. That is hard to find. Others: - One of the best office spaces in San Diego, hands down - Flexible PTO and remote work options - Awesome company culture that still feels like a fun startup (this is hard to find too) - The product is incredible. Our customers love it and that literally makes my job 1000x better - Coworkers that actually care about your well being and inspire you to achieve more

Cons

I see some negative reviews here and while I disagree with them, I can see why they left. Here are my thoughts: - Fast-paced environment - ClickUp only hires A-players. We run performance reviews regularly and make it very black and white if you are meeting expectations. Some people thrive under this and some don't. We are in an incredibly competitive industry and we are racing to capture market share. If you don't have the drive to be the best at your job and ultimately help lead the company to a successful (and financially rewarding) exit, then this may not be the best place for you - Full workload - I hear some of my friends talk about trying to find a "remote job" with the expectation that you will have a 20-30 hour work week. That is not ClickUp. There are jobs out there that fit those expectations but they aren't conducive to high pay and personal growth. ClickUp pays well and they expect you to challenge yourself, challenge your team, and ultimately grow into a high-performing contributor. At the end of the day we all want to hang our hat on being a part of this story and that comes with a full workload - Leadership Changes - This is going to happen at any startup but it can be difficult to manage sometimes. At the end of the day though we are building a company that is going to take us further faster. Sometimes change has to happen in order to grow
