Pros

Not many pros other than office uses to have decent snacks.

Cons

Clickup recently did layoffs and many chief executives are let go due to not hitting company goals. The company is in shambles!!! The product keeps crashing and can’t meet the need of customers. Engineering team is pulled in so many different directions without clear prioritization. There is strong blame shifting culture here because leadership is toxic and won’t accept responsibility for the product being the way it is. I feel sorry for the customers because they are being lied to. The only companies that will benefit from Clickup are the mom and pop shops with few employees. Any company larger than that won’t be able to take advantage of Clickup because the product can’t handle any form of scale. All promised features keep getting delayed as more and more issues get identified.

Pros

Benefits are okay, but they're not as impressive as what many other tech companies offer.

Cons

The current state of ClickUp is concerning. Immature and out-of-touch leadership, along with multiple rounds of layoffs and offshoring roles, reflect a company in flux. The platform's unreliability and bugs only exacerbate the situation. This product lacks substance, overshadowed by marketing fluff. ClickUp is marketed as a productivity tool, yet it falls short of this promise, making it one of the least productive companies I've encountered. Despite its purported purpose, the platform's unreliability and bugs hinder efficiency rather than enhancing it. Furthermore, the culture within the company only serves to exacerbate productivity issues, with employees more focused on playing politics than on getting work done. ClickUp's failure to deliver on its core function reflects a fundamental disconnect between its marketing image and the reality of its operations. Employees often feel pressured to justify their roles by resorting to questionable data to bolster their achievements. This culture fosters a cycle of self-congratulation based on flimsy metrics, where the appearance of productivity outweighs genuine results. Unfortunately, this focus on optics undermines trust within the organization and detracts from real efforts to enhance productivity. I wouldn't recommend ClickUp to someone I respect.

Pros

-The Health Insurance is good -Most individual contributors are incredible people, on and off the court

Cons

How do I describe my time at ClickUp, maybe Office Space meets Idiocracy? Some highlights of 2022 below: -Quota's generated based on nothing, thus less than 10% of global AE's at plan -7 figure quota, average deal size is very low 5 figures, you'll be promised six figure average in your interview I'm sure -They give 80% of the platform away for free, then wonder why customers don't want to fork over money for niche features on paid plans -Above leads to magazine subscription sales tactics forced by leadership to make you look like an idiot as you ruin your customer relationships to close a two thousand dollar upsell that they didn't need -They fired almost every CSM and didn't backfill. So you get to sell the value of Enterprise as CSM/Services who then take 2-3 weeks to make contact with closed deals as one CSM is managing all Enterprise clients -They don't have a partner channel.....like any. Could you imagine.... -Platform starts to break when there's over 300 users in one instance, but force us to sell smoke and mirrors to prospects to grow deal size averages that will never close -Every 1:1 with the Director's that they've churned through (I've had three managers in one year) left me with a sense that they're interviewing elsewhere or overall uninterested to even be here
