Pros

The contributors actually doing the work are the ones keeping this company afloat. Management is very inexperienced.

Cons

I would not recommend working here. You'll be asked to do 2x-3x the work you probably are used to, with ever-increasing responsibilities. There isn't a way to make money off of the equity now that they raised at the worst possible time from an employees' equity perspective. They've seemed to master the fact that you can just lie to employees as long as you seem confident, smile, and don't back down. Take the other negative reviews as truth. The company is unfortunately great at faking positive reviews, inflating follower numbers (was a company the founder initially started), and appearing more successful than they are in effort to create buzz. They do this on other social outlets, and lie with employee equity packages as well. Much of it is based around early-career workers who wouldn't know any different and are impressionable.

Pros

The company is growing at a good rate

Cons

There’s too many to name. The leadership team is a mess and have zero self awareness, many people are quitting or being forced out, and they care about culture but don’t live it. Wouldn’t recommend coming here

Pros

The people I work with are incredible and the benefits are great.

Cons

Do NOT trust what you read in the job description or what they tell you during your interview! What is advertised as a job that's "flexible" with schedules and may require "some" weekend shifts, quickly turned into a job that is NOT flexible at all with your schedule. **BE ADVISED: Working holidays is mandatory. Working every weekend is guaranteed. Working OVERNIGHT shifts is non-negotiable. Despite what they may tell you in your interview. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY.** Please consider these things before accepting a position within Customer Support at ClickUp. They will tell you anything to get you through the door. (I can only speak for Customer Support) They couldn't care less about your personal life and mental well being. They only care about "providing the best customer service, period." And they will use that "core value" to excuse themselves from treating you like a human. The benefits are great but nothing is worth losing time to spend on things that really matter. At the end of the day, ClickUp DOES NOT MATTER more than the time you spend during the holidays with family or the weekends you spend watching your children play sports!

We appreciate your feedback and are disappointed to know your experience was not reflective of what we're building here at ClickUp. Some employees do work overtime, but we no longer have mandatory overtime in Customer Support. Additionally, while some Customer Support team members are assigned weekend and overnight shifts, not every Support employee is assigned to these shifts. Our Support team is strategically scheduled to best ensure our users have access to any help they need. As we continue to grow, maintaining transparency is a key priority for us as a company. Please know your feedback is being shared with our leadership team, and we hope you feel empowered to share your experience with your manager.
