Pros

Their technology initially looks quite interesting, but it isn't nearly as advanced or unique as they think it is. It is also very easily replicated. It won't be long before the likes of Amazon, Google, IBM etc have effectively made Clinc technology defunct.

Cons

Extremely inexperienced and incapable leadership team. They need to turn to treat employees like people instead of like drones to be used up and spat out. If they carry on this way, it won't be long before all the money they have is used up and they have to sell the company for well below market value.

Pros

- Nice coworkers, most of them are friendly. - NLP is a promising and exciting field. - Good benefits.

Cons

- Disappointing management. - Lack of company vision. - Company policies are constantly changing. - CEOs don't seem to care about creating an enjoyable environment for us employees. - Work-life balance doesn't really exist in startups. Clinc is no exception. - Everyone deserves respect, but not everyone gets it here, and the certain top leadership tries to justify the action of disrespecting even abusing their employees. Just laughable.

Pros

There are difficult technical problems to solve in a field with a lot of unanswered questions. If you like working on complex problems, you will like Clinc Some software engineers can make meaningful contributions and have a lot of impact. If an engineer can deliver, they are given a lot of freedom.

Cons

The husband and wife CEOs created a dysfunctional culture where the most important thing was working burnout hours and being loyal. Challenges and problems were not talked about openly. There was a small inner circle composed of the founders and students who were previously in the PhD lab. Founding team had no previous startup experience and had trouble taking advice. Engineering had high turnover and a lack of experienced leadership.
