      Outdated and slowly dying

      Pros

      Good place to get experience(short term wise) Nice coworkers Good work life balance in Support. Not so much in other parts of the company

      Cons

      Underpaid, underappreciated, dead end job with 0 possibilities of job advancement. The company is hiring mostly from India and they have been steadily losing clients over the past 5 years. The products are outdated and the company has refused to invoate or evolve. The executives have just been going on a shopping spree of buying different companies to add to the Roper portfolio to try and stay afloat. However, they haven't given a facelift to any of the products or added features to any of them. They continue to ignore the clients wishes and this is the reason why they're failing.

      Pros

      Struggling to find any pros but I have to write something in here. The UK and European people for the most part are nice, they all seem to be quietly quitting. The good folks have already left or are planning to.

      Cons

      Well, where to start. The highly successful UK and European businesses merged with another US Roper company, the failing Sunquest LIMS business. Then the CEO decides to put all the failing Sunquest managers in charge. Then with no due diligence they decide the next generation product will be a small US product that has focused on Water, Food and Drug Testing markets, not clinical labs and certainly not of the size, scale and complexity that the UK and European businesses service. Then they decide to offshore development to the Sunquest India business which has never shipped a product in it long and poor performing history and stop hiring tech talent in the US, UK and Europe. Clueless doesn't even come close to describing the levels of ineptitude in the leadership team.
