Pros

I love my job at Closet Factory. I get a chance to meet interesting people and design beautiful storage spaces in some of the most beautiful houses in Los Angeles. It's not a hard-core sales job. All you have to do is be consistent, helpful, knowledgeable and manage your time well and you will be successful. The Closet Factory in house team and management are all genuine people who work extremely hard for us designers out in the field and for our clients.

Cons

The job is hard at first. There is a pretty big learning curve and it can seem fast paced and overwhelming at times. If you are self motivated and treat the job like it's your own business and stick with it for a few months you will be rewarded not only financially, but also have a great job that is flexible, creative and fun!

Pros

I have worked here for just over a year. I was hired to run the CNC router but was open in the interview process of my desire to keep learning new skills and jobs within the company. In the year that I have worked here I have learned how to operate all the CNC and computer operated machines in the factory. I am now in the process of moving into a factory management position. Closet Factory will train new employees even if they have little or no experience in the cabinet/carpentry industry. I can't say I dislike a single person that works here which is very rare in a work environment. They recently started paying for a portion of employees health insurance. Closet Factory has been making many changes within the factory/company lately. They have been helping employees become more efficient and have been putting a lot of money into improving and updating their machines and tools. Overall, it is a great place to work.

Cons

Up until recently we have been understaffed with the amount of work that has been moving through the factory which has put strain on all staff. Closet Factory has improved this and things are getting better as new employees are being trained. Any weakness within the company seems to be at the forefront of management.

Thanks for your thoughts. It has been very busy, and it has taken time to find the right people to hire for manufacturing. All your hard work and that of your coworkers have been deeply appreciated.
