Pros

Lots of smart people to work with who are simply stuck or comfortable where they are

Cons

They have reduced pay to be somewhat consistent between offices, particularly for new graduates, regardless of location. As in Arlington VA and Irvine CA get the same pay as Richmond VA.

Pros

- Coworkers are amazing and I have made great friendships. - Great pay (When you apply you can ask for more and they will probably give it to you if you have experience/are older) - No expectations outside of working hours. - You might work a west coast shift (10:30-7) and I prefer that as I am not a morning person.

Cons

- I feel like I could get fired any moment, I do not feel any sense of security in this position - They have unreasonable expectations: The metrics are too high, I can't do a quality job because I'm rushing through everything I do. They expect you to work so fast you don't have time to use the bathroom or even check your email. - Even though I'm doing well enough to keep the job, the daily stress from trying to hit metrics regularly is weighing on me. - If you think this is a tech and data role, it is not. - You can transfer to another research department after a year where you do some similar stuff, but I have heard the tenant research department has it the worst. - As a researcher, management doesn't care about your opinion, and the advice they give you is not helpful. - Some managers are harsh, so your score can depend on who you are assigned to. - They'll hire anyone with a degree, the workload just makes you want to quit, and people are always dropping, especially from the training program.
