Pros

The people are great, for the most part. The industry is exciting.

Cons

Senior management can't seem to get it together. Every fix is a band aid, which leads to inefficiency and rework. They need to slow down in order to catch up. This has been the case for a very long time, and my former colleagues on the inside tell me that nothing has changed.

Not the place you want to stay long term

Pros

Remote is always a plus , If you are early in your career, this can be a place to learn. You will get exposure to compliance work and real client environments, which can be valuable if you have limited options. It can be a stepping stone if you are intentional about what you take from it.

Cons

Engineering experience is highly dependent on your team and manager. Offshoring continues to ramp up and has a noticeable impact on workload and morale. Management gossip about engineers is normalized, which creates a lack of trust. There are times where integrity around delivery feels flexible in order to save money or move faster.
