Pros

Received small raises every year that accumulated well. Received <1k bonus's annually Had supportive managers

Cons

1. I was on the federal side and there are not as many opportunities so I was stuck on a contract. 2. Often felt like I wasn't apart of Coalfire, but my clients employee. 3. Communication was tough. If everything is going well then not much to report.

Pros

Very supportive work environment with great learning opportunities for growth, great/fair pay and competitive benefits, intelligent and positive workforce, driven leadership. Coalfire gives you the opportunity to grow within the company, whether that's vertically or horizontally (cross-training). The culture and leadership at Coalfire is fantastic. Good balance - they promote fun and community but are also passionate about company growth/success and client satisfaction. As with any new position it takes a while to get up to speed, and that can feel a bit overwhelming and nerve wracking, but Coalfire provides good training resources, a "First Friend" (mentor) and lots of meet and greet meetings to get to know your team and others.

Cons

Managers, give new hires a little more time to go through the required training without having to rush through, and allow some time/opportunities for new hires to wrap their heads around the work they will be doing before throwing them into too many sessions and meetings that make no sense at the moment.

Pros

Great learning experience and interface with many interesting clients.

Cons

Priority is made to deliver on client projects and little to no time is set aside to improve the service. Culture has changed to predominantly remote workforce and there is little opportunity for team building or social atmosphere. Work / life balance is being eroded away by higher client billable utilization requirements for individual contributors.
