Uncertainty - you may be the last person standing (others quit or got fired) and feel like they still may not promote you after 2.5 years in the same role Turnover - you might make friends or get used to a team but have an entirely new team after a year due to turnover Interns/associates got fired even though there seems to be shortage of employees Managers have a skewed idea of how long tasks take and will expect you to work extra to complete tasks that weren’t properly budgeted in the first place

a lot of focus on AI, pushing work down to offshore teams, and constantly focused on productivity/margins/$$$ versus caring about the people who do the work.
