Pros

- Leaving the company - Currently working at an organization where I'm flourishing - Earning way more than I did at this joke of a company

Cons

If you’re considering a job at CohnReznick, run—don’t walk—away. This company is nothing short of a career purgatory with zero room for professional growth, learning, or meaningful training. Here’s the brutal reality: managers and partners are more interested in covering their own incompetence than fostering talent. They routinely place employees they dislike on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as a smokescreen for their own failures. The management team is embarrassingly unqualified. They consistently "wing it" and, unsurprisingly, that’s why they’re stuck at CohnReznick—no other reputable company would tolerate their mediocrity. When these so-called leaders are handed projects beyond their knowledge, they pass the responsibility down to associates and senior associates. And when things inevitably go sideways, guess who gets the blame? The very people who were left holding the bag. Adding insult to injury, CohnReznick’s attitude toward military personnel is downright disgraceful. They have the nerve to berate employees who are part-time soldiers, showing a shocking lack of respect for those who serve. Interns are lured in with false promises and unrealistic expectations, only to quickly realize the harsh reality of working at CohnReznick. The company’s efforts to groom interns for future roles end up revealing just how bad things truly are. In summary, CohnReznick is a professional dead end. The environment is toxic, the management is inept, and the overall experience is dismal. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company at all costs.

Pros

If you're a male you can leave the office whenever and go golfing.

Cons

Busy season year round, terrible scheduling (for some reason HR manages schedules?! then management makes you do more work anyway), incompetent management (they try to hide behind 'coaches' and just don't actually grow their teams.. management here is just closer to doing less work and schmoozing with clients instead), out of touch partners pressure staff into doing the work of 3 full time employees at once (seriously, expect 80+ hour weeks year-round), partners drag you to unnecessary events during a pandemic exposing you to COVID. There is a complete disconnect between partners trying to acquire new clients and the companies ability to serve these clients. IT systems aren't able to support the work, you spend more time dealing with IT issues than doing real work.

Pros

NYC location is nice to work in. Decent work life balance (because there are so few projects)

Cons

Terrible management with a lot of favoritism for white employees. inconstant projects, so you will be on the bench for a long time and then have that used against you in performance reviews. Unprofessional behavior from HR and managers with certain employees. Not enough upwards process or tools for learning provided.
