Pros

Pto, flexibility, casual dress code, benefits, commute, used to be great. I have to write 20 words and I don't have them.

Cons

Cohnreznick is terrible. The politics in this firm are worse than you could ever imagine. People in practice management are leaving left and right and they aren't hiring replacements. They offload the work onto current employees and each person is doing at least 3 full time jobs. Upper management is awful, they can't make decisions and have no idea what they are doing.the decisions that are being made are being done by people who aren't involved in the project and who don't do the actual work. No recognition. No respect. No support. I love what I do but I am very upset about what this company has become. I don't write reviews... but it's bad. really, really, bad. Might be ok for an accountant or auditor but my god, don't come if you are in any other field.

Pros

-Provides various onsite and offsite training for a variety of industries. Seniors and managers are very helpful and approachable during the training process. -Excellent working environment, great colleagues, and company sponsored employee appreciation events. -Decent pay and benefits, parking garage access attached to office. -Strong CEO and forward looking vision for the company moving forward. -Good work/life balance outside of busy season, flexible hours. -Employees receive immediate feedback on jobs and through engagement reviews, which are beneficial to employee growth moving forward.

Cons

-Miscommunication between feedback, received on jobs and engagement reviews, and continuing employment decisions. Positive feedback on reviews may not be indicative of future employment with the firm. -Negative feedback which can impact future employment is not communicated with the employee before or after decision is made. -Employee layoffs can occur immediately after putting in long hours during being season, with no notice to the employee beforehand. -Employee utilization can falter at times due to cancellation/delays of certain jobs and unavailability of other work. Employees can ask managers and other employees for additional work, and then HR, but at times, may not receive additional work. -While employee assigned coaches are supposed to help employees with utilization hour goals for the year, underperformance may not be communicated. If you are to work here, I suggest keeping a tight track of your utilization and make formal complaints with HR if your utilization hours are not meeting the firm's goals.
