We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention and we're glad that, if nothing else, you made connections with teammates that you valued and enjoyed. That being said, we're sorry to hear about your experience overall, and we'd like to explore where we might still step in and help. Are there any loose ends we can help you tie up, or anything else we should still be doing for you? If we can help, or if you'd like to share additional details about your experience, we'd be glad to connect with you at BusinessExcellence@collabera.com. Pros

Exposure to Fortune 500 companies

Cons

Was essentially a scam. Offered to train me but trapped me into a 2 year contract capped at $50k in a major American city. Penalty for breaking the contract (read: finding a new job) was $20k. Benefits were nonexistent, unless you wanted to give up about half your paycheck. Impossible to live without 2-3 roommates.

Thanks so much for sharing these concerns. A feature of our program allows for those who don't have the means to have access to an in-depth technical training program with soft skill development, which offers a way to get their foot in the door at an enterprise company. We know the program isn't a fit for everyone. By providing all details up front during the interview stages (as well as a line-by-line contract review before signing anything) allows the transparency to see if this is a direction that they can benefit from. If we are not the right learning-path fit, there are certainly other avenues that could be a better solution. For those who do see us as an option, we'll be providing the learning and development resources to help start their IT career. Thanks again, and we wish you the best as your career continues.
