Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

They act like you don't have a life outside of work. Long hours with overtime every day. They don't even give you a choice or ask you they just act like you are required to give your life to them. Always a fight to get home. Crew chiefs do whatever they want on the clock. Everybody from management down is two faced. Couldn't trust anybody. Dudes will lie or at the very least bend the truth to benefit them or save them when they screw up even if it means throwing it on someone else. Compensation was not too bad but unfair comparatively (I'll leave it at that). HR is a complete joke. There were problems with management in the office and hr never followed through with correcting anything. They are all talk and no action. They talk about safety non stop but the only motive is to keep their safety ratings good. Other than that I have never had the feeling they truly care. Don't buy you boots (not even specialty boots for substations and such). Again they seem to be all talk. Office guys seem to be rude for the most part, managers don't act like managers especially when it really counts. Place is a joke. I could go on forever but the bottom line is that I was miserable going to work every day from the time I started there.

Pros

Benefits and the pay and working with the field crew.

Cons

Management is a joke and HR isn't much better tells a lot of lies about how they are working on the Denver office but nothing ever changes.

Awful, avoid!

Pros

None worth noting. It says a lot that co-workers/managers that I’ve respected have left in quick succession.

Cons

Where to start…..unrealistic, borderline insane, expectations for constantly working overtime even when work load at a department level is light. Yes, I’m confused by the logic of that too! You will be penalized for using your (very limited) paid time off as all management cares about are billable hours and utilization rates. There are too many people pushing to become management and it shows that management positions are awarded based on personal relationships/company loyalty rather than any skill in management. I’m constantly in awe at how so many incompetent people are in charge here. The company “core values” are nothing more than a PR move to post on Linkedin. The culture is nonexistent because anything that would improve company morale/colleague relationships is not billable and therefore not valued, unless of course it’s on your own time off the clock. No opportunities for growth or creativity, just cookie-cutter projects on constant repeat as that’s where they see the biggest opportunity for profit. Pay isn’t competitive within the industry either.
