Pros

It is a job, benefits okay but on the expensive side. They match 401k, my old company did not.

Cons

Vacation not paid when you leave...Colliers had taken over my last company and accrued in 3 weeks of my time. Decided Colliers was not for me and found new employment without realizing you would not get paid out for your time. I have not taken a vacation for a while, and now it will be a while with the new company before I can.

Pros

Colliers International is a great company with great people. They value their employees and take good care of their clients -- at the corporate office.

Cons

Locally, offices don't adhere to corporate standards; the old school way is still the way. Very few females, and no minorities represented. Poor benefits, especially for staff (non-brokers). Agents treat staff with little to no respect and although management is aware of it, they are never talked to because they are the "money makers". No room to move up, unless you're a broker.

Pros

Colliers is growing very rapidly, mostly by M&A. There is a lot of opportunity that comes with this but also a lot of instability. Many parts of the company are newly or only partially integrated and pay and management styles varies widely from office to office.

Cons

I worked in the corporate headquarters in Seattle. In June 2015, Colliers was spun off from its parent and started trading as a public company. Nearly all of the top leadership changed and the company became a much less positive place to work almost overnight.
