Pros

The people are friendly and there is a strong sense of community. The office is generally laid-back. Good supervisors and clear career path.

Cons

The valuation department is noticeably separate from the much larger brokerage team. It is harder to connect with the brokerage team if you are in valuation.

Most people were friendly enough

Colliers as a whole runs very lean. The office I worked in, local leadership was so frugal, it was debilitating. Also, the local HR/administration manager was a joke and should not be in that position. Brokers run the show and support staff is not really valued. Since Colliers has slowly acquired offices, there is a huge disconnect between the different offices. Every office seems to be doing something different and there is no real communication or sharing of resources.
