Great students, independence for faculty

Pros

In large part, the students are serious about their education. Faculty can teach independently without being micro-managed. Nice facilities at all three campuses. The connection with students and their appreciation makes it all worth it.

Cons

Difficult to become a full-time faculty member as there are many associate faculty. The compensation is fair, but for an associate faculty member it should be treated as a side gig in addition to another full-time job. Access to facilities for weekend classes is challenging as there is a lack of communication between security and weekend class coordinators.

Pros

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The facilities, resources and technology are up to date and generally in working condition. There is good support from all areas. Any issues that arise are resolved quickly and in a friendly manner.

Cons

The adjunct offices are rather small (particularly at Spring Creek Campus. There are some professors (adjunct) with poor attitudes.
