Pros

Been here for 3 years and so far, I’m GOOD! The initial interview process was a 2 prong approach with 2 supervisor concentration on sales skills. Initial training when starting with CPL was very good was 2 weeks or more about product and computer system. Benefits are good if you like high deductible low premiums Health care which fits my pocket. Since we have all the other benefits; Eye, Dental 401K I’m in for the long haul with the company. Management I really feel they are responsive to the employee’s wellbeing AND FAMILY also society as a whole and this is from the tippy top of management direction and I get this from the GEORGE FLOYD incident response from the CEO of which I was pleasantly surprised. Salary is right in line for the job but once you add the bonus you are singing in the shower!

Cons

I can't say I have any. Prior to covid 19 when in the office before we departed, you really didn't hear any complaint about company except if you had to work on Saturday.

Pros

You will meet some really amazing people & establish real friendships with several of your coworkers within the company. Everyone here is experiencing the same work environment so it does draw people together. You will also gain a better understanding of life insurance that is valuable with helping family as well as obtain your life license that is yours to keep.

Cons

It’s a crab mentality that is present in the workplace. Especially if you are in the sales department. You must remain resilient & keep a positive mindset otherwise this place will beat you down. As much as teamwork is promoted at the company, you will learn very quickly that it is every man for himself. Employees are not valued and treated as dispensable. If you become an employee, take the job for what it is but do not allow anyone there to make you feel like working for the company is the end all be all or that you will never find another job that is comparable or better. That tactic will keep you there for years and limit your career growth.

Pros

Great benefits, 401k, health, life, & dental. Great bonuses when you make your goals. Great workshops on maintaining your health. Great people, and a nice work environment.

Cons

VERY STRESSFUL JOB. Great place to gain experience but not to stay! I recently started with FFL and & closed more in a day than I did working at Colonial Penn in one week. The agents are SLAVES making this company a ton of money!!!!
