Pros

Discounts even if you're on reduced non peak hours or voluntary layoff

Cons

Absolutely no support for home agents. Get blamed for absolutely everything. I still have no idea who my team lead is after six months. Communication sucks. Unrealistic sales goals for non peak season. They say advancement opportunities are here, but I think it's only if you work in he actually call center THEN transition to remote. Otherwise, I guarantee it's played by favorites. My first work from home job and it is NOT a good experience. I managed to get a second remote job that's fantastic and supportive.

Not the company it used to be

Pros

Used to be a wonderful place to work - innovative, forward-thinking, fun. That has changed dramatically.

Cons

A management team that has allowed the company to become "big business" instead of the family-owned, caring company it used to be. Employees in certain areas of the company (call centers, fulfillment) are not paid a living wage or given enough hours to qualify for health insurance. Older employees are routinely shoved out the door before they're ready to retire. New employees from a company in a neighboring community are brought in as managers/directors/VPs over and above the employees who have been there for years building the company. I worked there 20 years and would not recommend it anymore.

Customer Service Rep

Pros

Working from home. Supervisors & most employees are friendly. That's it.

Cons

CONSTANT PRESSURE to sell, sell, sell but rewards are in fake money that can only (supposedly) be spent at the company stores. They get around filling orders with administrative webs of garbage, excuses to not fill orders. The coupons are basically worthless, so, when you are working to sell (as REQUIRED), you are working for NOTHING.
