      Not bad for temporary employment, summer hours very inconsistent

      Pros

      Fairly simple work to make decent money for a summer job.

      Cons

      Hours were very inconsistent during summer, worked fewer hours than expected because of limited orders.

      Pros

      There are some opportunities for advancement if you are a hard worker AND a good networker. You're much better working for the parent company than the subsidiarys in a lot of cases.

      Cons

      If you can't be liked enough they will dismiss you, regardless of how hard you work. I've been assaulted twice, verbally abused by employees, and your managers couldn't care less about you unless production is hindered, and even then they involve themselves just enough to get back on track. At any given point if 3-5 supervisors at my level quit the place would not be operable for weeks. Too heavily reliant on the experience of few.

      Pros

      This is small company in the very small town, so very favorable environment if you spend all your free time with your management: golfing, biking, having beer, etc.

      Cons

      Very nasty environment if you do not spend free time with your management, you'll never be promoted and will practically be excluded from your team. Benefits are bad, providers never accept your insurance if you want to see a doctor outside on company nurse or Monroe clinic.
