Pros

Treats employees well as far as benefits etc. Always busy, never a dull moment. some good people who work as teams.

Cons

Location. The location breeds nepotism and suffers from locals controlling the upper management positions. No way to advance yourself if you are not somewhat local or a townie. Very incestuous that way. I have seen multiple advancements made to the locals and the extreme yes men ( or women) which makes educated and knowledgeable "outsiders" feel unrewarded for hard work and sacrifice that is brought to the table from seeing the world and bringing that experience to the middle of nowhere. Some extreme bully type managers that get away with it and may be reprimanded but keep their jobs. This is evident in the upper management also where there is at least one person in a place of power known company wide as a bit unhinged and very abusive to employees. With no recourse, as they have held that position for many years. That's scary. And may be the Achilles heel.

Pros

Close to home. Enjoy my job position.

Cons

Management [ supervisors, and asst. supervisors] make rules that they don't follow, like no eating of company product. Job advancement also counts on being in their little click. Cell phones are allowed by certain people, the ones in the "click". Have lost good asst. supervisors, that did their job, because they were treated badly, or didn't agree with the double standard for rules. Pay grade is unfair. It doesn't represent your performance or ability. Lots of theft going on by higher up employees.
