A good place to retire.

Pros

It's a place where you can stay a long time if you keep your head down and are agreeable. A very stable company financially. Sorel, mountain hardwear, and Prana brands are somewhat independent of the Boyles reach and therefore are much better to work in.

Cons

Very little opportunity to grow. Salary increases and moving up are not up to the pace/ standards of comparable companies. If you are looking for a dynamic and innovative environment look elsewhere. Very little risk taking under the Columbia brand. The globe is warming and that's a problem for a company so heavily leveraged in jackets.

Pros

Great culture. Flexible working hours. Report directly to one person and not 10. Executives doors wide open, available, kind & approachable. No cursing. Everyone has a good attitude. Ego left at the door. Family first....always!

Cons

HQ works paces are crowded and there's not enough space for company growth.

Pros

I loved my time with the company. Everyone is friendly and you really get that family feel. Great perks like free drinks after work on Thursdays, gym on site, theres a bar on site as well. The culture is great depending on what department you're in.

Cons

They pay low but they also hire people with little experience therefore its almost worth it to take a pay cut so you can get your foot in the door. Great starting off point if you eventually want to work for Adidas or Nike.
