Pros

I cannot think of one reason.

Cons

Management is unethical, it’s a cut throat environment. You cannot move to another department unless your current manager sign off on your move regardless if its a lateral or a promotion.

great job, great people, you perfect place for someone self motivated as there is a high level of personal accountability at all levels.

Cons

They work you to the bone. It's fulfilling work, but at a personal cost. (Depending on department)

401K matching is solid, stock options are good.

Cons

Low pay when compared to industry. Heavy workload. Very little chance for mobility without significant time at ComEd.
