Pros

Experience, learning new things, & people were nice. I enjoyed the location. Perfect for recent college graduates with no experience.

Cons

It was extremely tedious. Didn't give me the professional experience I wanted. Environment is call center like and slightly micromanaged. It's a perfect job for ppl straight out of college looking for job experience but definitely not something long term. The pay was not great.

Pros

Great area in downtown Chicago Remodeled floors Free snacks and drinks At the NBC tower Close to many of the lines and buses Nice walk Dual computer screens and updated phones Work from home equipment to only test your equipment every 90 days don't expect to work from home often 10 years a Rolex and 20 years a free car but that's if you're the few that stick around. You don't see many make it to 20 years. 5% Pto is not bad at 4 hours per pay period starting out. Some companies are lower. Holiday parties are pretty good and they raffle good stuff.

Cons

Low pay 31k you can't live off that and live on your own comfortably. But at the same time so many processes are being automated you don't do much. If you have student loans especially having a masters, good luck. The hire classes are a lot but the quality of training is terrible. You get about a week and some days before you're on your own. The training team is small so they push you along like a factory. But you gotta put in the effort to learn on your own and ask others to get by. They do have nice training rooms but there is no professional development or leadership programs that other companies offer. The quality has gone down as a result because people have no idea what they are talking about so an increase in transfers to "senior specialists" even most of them suck. No one really interacts with each other. You do your job and leave. Culture is not great nor is the overall morale. Don't let the pictures fool you thinking that it's happy go lucky all the time. Who cares about cookie making. Not enough space so you're crammed. Even management and AMs are in cubicles. Remote offices are forgotten about and pretty much governed by the office managers who do what they can with what they have. But the offices are ghetto and need a remodel from what is heard from Chicago. The benefits are terrible. Low matching on 401k. The website you get info on benefits and enroll sucks very basic maybe they should consider outsourcing it. The cheapest medical is 50 bucks but high deductible at 2500 and you have to pay out of pocket before coinsurance kicks in. The HMO is exclusively in Chicago. The most expensive is 160 per pay period which is the best plan. But on a salary you can't afford it. There's no transparency in regards to how much are the premiums and what percent compsych pays for them. Life insurance is bare bones at like 15k. Short term disability is optional and another thing you pay for which again is expensive. Dental and vision are probably the highlights of their benefits package. The benefits are not competitive. Whoever posts that they like the benefits are probably those who try to improve the ratings of this company. But at least they have them. The majority of the best people have left the company. This place is a revolving door and the CEO does endorse that. Pros and cons to that. Overall this is a call center job. So think about it before you apply but understandable if you're in a tight spot when no one else will hire you. Just get the job and plan on leaving when you find something else. You do get great info to help you find another job that you can exaggerate on your resume on what you did.

Pros

ComPsych is a great company to work for. ComPsych had great management teams, good compensation and benefits, and great staff support.

Cons

I can't really think of anything bad to say about the company. The work can be challenging at times but work would be boring without challenges.
