Pros

I've read through the other reviews and feel like management has done a much better job of listening to us and the people that have left the company. We receive pay increases every six months which is pretty much unheard of, they changed the manager team so the TLs now are all approachable and there's no one that makes you feel uncomfortable or like you're not part of her clique, they added a coach which was a GC so we know her and it's nice that she has done this job and gets it. I feel like there have been little things that are nice too like adding a team to take the calls that aren't clinical, giving us two computer monitors, I have always loved the location, bagels and snacks. I also get good feedback from my TL and she helps me grow and feel like what I do matters. I've been on the TV for client kudos and it felt nice to be appreciated. HR does lunches and offers game tickets- GO HAWKS! My colleagues are pretty great too.

Cons

Our benefits are not very good. Low sick and vacation time and I have definitely come to work sick to avoid getting in trouble for be absent too much. Which doesn't make sense for a health and wellness company and the work we do. This job is stressful, fast-paced and is a call center. So it's easier to feel burn out but doesn't seem to be recognized much. There's also a disconnect between the upper management and my department and it's obvious when a new process is rolled out no one communicated what it would look like well and we all have to try and guess or wait for the higher ups to clarify their decision.

Pros

I like my coworkers a lot. The location is really neat. I like that we are right by the river and a lot of cool places downtown. There is an opportunity to do overtime beyond your scheduled shift. Initial training is very thorough and in depth. Easy to get a job here.

Cons

The way that some policies and the way things operate around here still feels mysterious to me. There is a bonus incentive for taking more calls, and management only sort of tells you what you need to do to get that incentive. I compromised my own mental health to make that incentive, thinking that the amount of calls and my level of service was enough to get it; however, there was no bonus for me at the end of that month. The problem with that incentive is that the more calls you take or you're available to take, the more likely you are to get intense calls where someone is in a major crisis and needing safety planning. If you take too many of those calls, you're bound to feel ridiculously drained at some point. Part of it is our line of work, but still, I feel as though the amount of work I put in is definitely not worth the pay. It'd be different if there were more recognition for hard work. They've started posting comments from anonymous client surveys about some GCs on the screen as a way to give kudos, but I have never been on there and neither have any of my colleagues that I feel work the hardest for the company. Also, most of the team leaders are nice but they often times seem way too busy and overworked to feel like it's worth it to bother them.

Pros

Location, bagels, nuts and chocolates.

Cons

All negatives reviews about this company is true. The company has a very unhealthy, almost rotten working environment. There is very little communication between employees of the same department, not to mention employees of different departments. Employees might work on the same project for months and never even meet each other, even though, they just sit on different floors. For the whole time I worked for this company there was not even once a company meeting where employees would learn about the company news, future goals, express their opinions, listen to company CEO and etc. I worked for an IT department and with dissatisfaction can report that Senior IT management is extremely incompetent, to the point that one starts wondering how they even were placed in these leading roles with such limited knowledge and skills of IT. It's beyond repair really...!! All employees that were hired at the time I was hired left company already.
