Training

Pros

Clean training rooms with an abundance of people from all kinds of career paths, like truck drivers, cooks, bus drivers and generally anyone with a heart beat.

Cons

They tell you training is all expenses paid at initial meeting with "area manager" and then BAM, they put an invoice in front of you fo $2600 to cover the cost of training and want you to sign it. A very slick move to recover every cent they are spending to "train you for free". I got up and left as soon as they did that, I didn't stick around for The $400 they were going to "give" me for expenses. All in all they were going to hold $5000.00 payback over my head of which I would have had to sign for and repay, either by sales or personal cash. Not impressed as I drove 1000 Kms to attend this course, only to find out it was a cash grab, and if I completed the course the "area manager" gets a finder fee.

Captive Agent

Pros

Being able to have a flexible schedule and advanced commissions can be awesome! If you're independently motivated, this is a good fit

Cons

Working on 100% commission has a downside, and unless you have a strong residual check, there's no such thing as paid sick leave. Upper management was not very flexible or supportive.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company. Sales agents have the flexibility to run their businesses and schedule their appointments, making it an ideal career for someone who is looking for work/life balance. To be successful, agents must have a strong work ethic and be great at self-motivation. Our agents have the potential to earn virtually unlimited income, and all of our employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package. We work hard to make sure every employee has the support they need to be successful, but it sounds like you were disappointed in the support you received. We are always striving to improve, and we would appreciate it if you would please send more information to feedback@combined.com . We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
