The commercial card division has poor leadership. They don't understand sales outside of the Missouri market and especially in the states where there are no Commerce Bank facilities. The senior management in Commercial Card is a good old boy network making decisions based on favoritism and promotions based on personal relationships, not professional.

Part-time employees get no benefits though the hours worked do not differ much from full-time employees (I worked 37 hours as a part-time employee while full-time is 40 hours a week). Part-time employees are almost expected to work every Saturday. Though you're given paid sick days, it seemed almost impossible to use it. I contracted strep throat, had a fever that was over 100 degrees, with a doctor's note and still expected to come in. My branch was short-staffed more than half of the time I worked there. It took 7 months for a new teller to be hired and once a new person was hired, someone else was fired, still leaving us short-staffed. There seemed to be no real concern for the tellers' safety, only the money.
