      Pros

      Highly visible to senior leadership. The bank wants to retain people really badly, but sometimes there are just not enough opportunities.

      Cons

      Not enough tuition reimbursement, sales people are promoted to management even when their style is poisonous and no one does anyting about it.

      Pros

      Focus on doing the right thing from the customer's and bank's perspective. Focus on diversity in thought and solutions to our customers' problems. Very competitive base pay and incentive packages as well as 401K matching and healthcare coverage. High employee engagement. Great integrity within this long standing company that truly values their employees' opinions and perspectives.

      Cons

      A highly regulated industry which is causing traditionally banking strategies to be re-evaluated and changed to stay competitive so there are lots of moving parts and a part of any employees' focus must be on overcoming these types of obstacles. The highly technical aspects of Treasury Management create an environment where every sale and implementation becomes custom - the good news is that every day brings a new challenge to tackle and you are never bored!

      Commerce Bank has a very strong culture that works for the success of the employee, customer and community. The strong mix of customer products helps us out compete other banks and the service is delivered with a high degree of personal touch. The organization takes a long term approach to develop and promote talent.

      Storng effort to do the right thing make feel like progress is slow at times.
