Pros

Remote? Access to decent tools-?

Cons

An extremely unstable, unprofessional work environment where skills mean little to nothing, and titles are given out (and taken away) without any reasoning beyond general favoritism, while skilled people are treated with utter disrespect and reminded that they are disposable. The "human kindness" tenets projected to the public are not representative of the inside. Self-importance and arrogance abounds from so-called leadership (scattered and umimpressive). The amount of irresponsible marketing spending is disturbing, considering this is a faith-based non-profit. Pretty bad.

Underpaid and undervalued

Pros

Before the merger, I enjoyed my job and my coworkers. I learned a lot and stayed busy, work was never dull. Former CEO did everything he could to prevent layoffs and your job felt secure.

Cons

After the merger, everything went downhill. Layoffs galore. However, my manager always micromanaged tf out of me and had a stick up her woohoo, gossiping about everyone and grinning in their faces. Never, ever wanting me to grow/excel. When I asked for her signature on my tuition reimbursement form she told me I was wasting my time getting my degree. Two years later she congratulated 2 of my coworkers who were managers, for finally getting their bachelors degrees. Raises were forgotten unless I spoke up. I started looking for a job and realized I was severely underpaid. Put in my 2 weeks notice and she called me sneaky. Then on my last day she didn't have my check ready. But California law slapped that wrist and I was handsomely compensated. I miss some of my coworkers but I do not miss the mistreatment. Now I'm hearing that even more layoffs are coming and people are being encouraged to retire. PTO must be used for everything, including company holidays. It's all one pot: sick time, holidays, vacation. And it doesn't accrue fast at all. You have to pay for your own parking.

Pros

The people were great to work with Remote options

Cons

Constant layoffs in IT and they are super careful to do under 100 every few months so not to have comply with the WARN Act. Whole departments are gone.
