Pros

You are challenged in your role, management is receptive to ideas to improve the department, but if you come with an idea expect to take the initiative to research and implement. Collaborative environment in which you can share best practices.

Cons

Lots of change in healthcare, have to be able to adapt and embrace change.

Pros

Flexible schedule. Great pay. Nothing else.

Cons

Unable to give a score of zero. Coney fake staff. No staff advocates. Prejudice against minorities. Especially Afro-American's. Felt horrible for them. High leadership turn-over.

Pros

Great place to work if you are of certain "favored" demographics and willing to completely disregard patient safety in favor of leaders' insatiable egos.

Cons

Those of us who don't have the "right" demographics and do care about patients can fully anticipate becoming the target of an endless culture of intimidation, discrimination, retaliation, and silencing tactics. Leaders will almost never hold other leaders accountable at any level of the chain of command. So if you enjoy proving your loyalty to leaders by happily endangering patients without comment or complaint, this will be a great fit for you. If the challenge of potentially career-damaging retaliation and psychological abuse because you care about patients appeals to you, look no further. Leaders here are on an extreme power trip and continually pit you against the patients in increasingly dangerous ways, daring you to defy your loyalty to them personally at the expense of the safety and care of the patients.
