      Pros

      Never a shortage of work. A lot of people really wanting to do a great job.

      Cons

      In the middle of a major leadership transition, hang tight and don't get on board quite yet.

      Can't recommend the laboratory

      Pros

      Most of the techs are hardworking and competent.

      Cons

      Pay is low. Management continually asks for input, but does whatever they had initially planned to do. They buy problematic instruments and then blame the techs when they break. Currently they are making sure to write up employees for the most minor of infractions, ie: clocking in one minute late.This is obviously being done to be sure that they can use the write-ups for ammo to downsize. My direct manager once said "I guess I'll have to come in if you guys can't handle it". This was a week after a completely botched go-live--once again, management's fault.

      Mercy is a great place to work. It is like a family working together to help provide great outcomes.

      Being mentored to grow professionally is not in the culture.
