Pros

People I work with for the most part are kind, even in a work environment that is led by a toxic leader

Cons

Toxic leadership. Leader in new area has no understanding of project management, will micromanage you going against DOG and PM standards, and treat you like a highschooler, favoring her staff and excluding you from their meetings. The leader will undermine you in your meetings. The leader sets an environment of splitting staff with the new folks being treated poorly and preventing them from doing Project management work because of leaders lack of understanding and wanting to have power and control because of dislike of ProjectManagement and inability to understand what their job is about as a director.
