      Matrix organization so upper management is too overwhelmed to handle concerns about lower management. There is not a system for proper checks and balances.

      well run organization- easy to move throughout the network

      like all hospitals they spend a lot of time chasing a buck....would be nice to come to work and not her about it every bloody day

      Pros

      wonderful management and physicians that really care about the patients. Infact the motto is Patients First. Medical Assistants can have a range of duties from front office to back office.

      Cons

      as a Medical Assistant you HAVE to get certified/ registered. The pay could be better for as large of a network that community is, raises are minuscule, bonuses... dont really exist. There isnt anyway to move up in the company as a medical assistant. All positions that are coordinator, supervisor, management require advanced degrees.
