Pros

if you need a job for the paycheck, community is a perfect place for you. Also the staff is very friendly.

Cons

management needs improvement, and redirection. Staff could be more knowledgeable and could show more commitment and ownership.

Pros

The colleagues are largely the best part of working at Community. It is an eclectic group of people who is always willing to help in any capacity, in or out of the workplace if possible.

Cons

Very underpaid for the industry. Upward career mobility is very limited and often stifled. Newer employees receive the benefits of new equipment and quicker additional training. There is high turnover. Pay is based exclusively on what you negotiated during hiring and any increases, albeit infrequently and small, are based on percentages of current salary instead of performance.

Pros

The service center has decent benefits. PTO is pretty lax and the job gives you a hybrid schedule. The job can suck a lot at times but if you are starting off your career it could be okay to do for a year. Please note they do half way lie about it being an IT job. This isn't a dedicated Tier 1 IT job. This is a call center! Do not be fooled. If you come in with the mindset of this being a call center then you should be a lot better off. I was lied to and was told this was a Tier 1 IT job.

Cons

The company culture is horrible. Huge disconnect from the higher ups and the people doing the grunt work. The IT team is incompetent. DEI hires and nepotism hires all throughout. The hospital is very and I mean VERY focused on DEI. They are so focused on DEI I almost wonder if they care more about DEI than their patients. The hospital as a whole DEI department. It's also a game of "not my issue" and throwing off your work to someone else until it eventually gets fixed. No one takes initiative in the IT department. If you are someone who wants a competent IT team and workforce as a whole I'd recommend to avoid this place. Getting a promotion would be an absolute mission here too. Unless you know the VP's or anyone higher up you are going to have a tough time getting a promotion. They tell you that there are plenty of ways to get promoted but those spots already have candidates chosen months before the position is even open.
