      Believes in employee engagement, working to increase salaries, and friendly staff.

      Cons

      Matrix organization so upper management is too overwhelmed to handle concerns about lower management. There is not a system for proper checks and balances.

      Pros

      It's hard to find a hospital that makes their employees feel valued and appreciated. From the moment I stepped into the hospital, I felt a sense of family.

      Cons

      I work at an outlying hospital in the system, and the pay is not as competitive as I'd like, especially since I work in a higher acuity area.

      Decent benefits; bonuses and tuition reimbursement; flexibility in scheduling; physicians, PAs, and NPs are all very nice to deal with; nice facilities

      Cons

      Management changes constantly, as do the current 'rules' for the departments. Too many politics in and between departments. Our middle management takes a very 'big-brother' approach and uses a lot of passive-aggressive threats and fear to try to move the departments forward.
