Pros

• I worked with some insanely intelligent and talented people. They have unfortunately left the company to go on to opportunities where their skill set could be properly used • Health insurance was fully covered • Teams have a lot of autonomy (pro and con because this comes from the lack of direction on the leadership side) • The team is diverse (LGBTQ + marginalized gender-friendly)

Cons

• Retention has continuously been an issue within the org and while it had been acknowledged, there were no concrete plans to solve for the fact that people were leaving the company weekly • Leadership has a heavy background in working with more established companies and therefore seems ill-equipped to create a solid and executable company vision and product strategy • Teams work in silos with no visibility • Projects and products are changed every few months, lack of stability. This is common in startups but not at this level.
