Pros

I am rarely asked to attend meetings and can focus on work and be left in peace to focus. I have the tools I need to do the job and here you waste little time on red tape its impressive. I've been working from a cabin in Montana for a week so far, no one has noticed. Perfect. We help doctors spend time on less paperwork and its admirable work.

Cons

Constant Slack notifications. Feels like im being pecked to death by digital chickens somedays. Open floor plan. Who decided these are productive

Most of the time when people are happy at companies, their first thought isn’t to leave a review on Glassdoor. I was asked by our HR team to share my honest experience, which reviews that you might see. Its clear the team and company take the reviews here seriously. (Also not sure if my post formatting will stay) Overall I have loved working at Commure. In reflection the company does a great job working on interesting problems, with great people, to provide an experience where I am proud to spend my time here. What stands out with my experience thus far: ---1. Long Term Games with Long Term People. Here at Commure the focus is on both today and the future. When you work with a long-term horizon, you benefit from daily compounding effects. Whether that’s growth in skills, a deeper understanding of the healthcare problem space, or stronger relationships with colleagues. This compounding mindset is what helps build legendary companies. ---2. Positive Sum Games. Commure is at a growth inflection point, with abundant opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities. If you want to advance in your career, there are plenty of meaningful projects to tackle. We have a supportive, collaborative culture where, when the team wins, everyone wins. ---3. Do work that matters. I believe it takes the same amount of time and effort to tackle hard problems as easy ones, so why not invest in something meaningful? With the focus on healthcare—a universal need—we get build the cutting-edge software to healthcare providers. Nothing is more rewarding than hearing about a doctor who can finally attend her son’s soccer game because our tools helped streamline her work, or a patient is able to get the care they need during a challenging time from our tools.

Cons

Working at Commure—or any ambitious company—won’t be the right fit for everyone, and I suspect you’ve seen reviews reflecting that. People who succeed here tend to have: ---High Agency: You should be self-directed and intrinsically motivated. ---Autonomy: You should be comfortable figuring things out independently. ---Diligence & Discipline: You’re expected to handle challenging, often ambiguous problems with consistency and commitment. This isn’t a place where you work 20 hours a week and call it a day. Our mission to improve healthcare means tackling complex, uncharted territory with new technology, and that requires dedication with a sense of responsibility to the broader community.
