Pros

I’m writing this to provide more context. In my experience, most platforms that allow reviews don’t always capture the full picture—mainly because people are more likely to leave a review when they’re upset. I’ve been at Commure for nearly four years, and in my 20 years of work experience, I’ve never been part of a team I’ve enjoyed working with more. I don’t dread going to work—I love what we do. No company is perfect, and Commure is no exception. But if I have to spend time away from my family, I want to spend it doing work I enjoy with people I respect. Commure has more than checked that box for me.

Cons

This company moves incredibly fast, and that pace can sometimes create friction between departments and employees. Many of us thrive in this kind of environment, but I know it’s not for everyone. Having been a small cog in a massive, slow-moving machine before, I’ll take speed any day.

Pros

Working here is great. It’s fast-paced, for sure, but if you’re someone who actually thrives on the sweet chaos of building epic solutions that might save the world (or at least impress your mom), you’ll fit right in. There’s a real sense of camaraderi too in the Mountain View office. you’ll have inside jokes with the entire team in under a week, food everyday plus its the best place I have ever worked and the best thing for my own career in a lot of ways. You get to tackle challenges all day, every day. The team is insanely smart, and they push you to experiment and fail fast, which is basically the golden ticket for learning faster than you ever thought possible. The environment is so chill at the same time. We move at breakneck speed, but it’s all about building cool stuff and seeing it in action.

Cons

Don’t come here expecting a 9 to 5. Sometimes you’ll be so deep in problem solving mode you forget day and night even exist. It can also feel like we’re changing direction midair because we’re growing so quickly it’s the kind of place where you’ll get used to constructing brand new processes on the fly. If you prefer things slow and methodical, you might want to look elsewhere. Your Slack might never stop pinging, so brace yourself. if you crave a place that’ll keep you on your toes never let you sleep or have a life outside work this is definitely the spot. Because we’re all about the hustle. You’ll never be bored I promise.
