Putting People First

Pros

That headline is one of the core values of the CompHealth and it has been on full display during these challenging times. You never really can know what will transpire when things get tough, but CompHealth has been unwavering in their dedication to their people and to making a difference in healthcare. Proud to be a part of their organization and culture.

Cons

Sometimes you can bring the work home with you, going beyond the workday to really make it happen. I'm someone who really advocates the separation of personal and business times, so I sometimes am compromising on this. A small price to pay in order to make it to the next level and one I do pay.

Overall great company

Pros

The culture of the company is awesome and they strongly stand by it. The CEO of the company truly cares about the employees and is always looking for ways to improve to not only better our customers' experience, but the employees as well.

Cons

The pay - the structure for business partners could use some work. Sales receives a commission based on how they work, the BPs receive no commission. The flexability is another - this is improving, but still could use some work.

Never Without a Job

Pros

This is a relationship oriented company. Recruiters are friendly, helpful, and try their best to give you a job that will match your skillset but also allow you to grow. I had great support at the sites I worked at and CompHealth. I always felt like I was in the driver's seat. I grew so much in experience and an individual during my 2 years with CompHealth. I would work with them again.

Cons

If you ever have to go through switching a recruiter it is terrible. I went for two weeks at a clinical site with no contact from CompHealth at all. I almost left CompHealth prematurely, but fortunately someone did reach out to me and gave me a new recruiter so I could continue doing assignments with them. I strongly recommend finding your own housing arrangements on assignments. CompHealth works through a third party called, Traveler's Haven, if you request CompHealth to find housing for you. Traveler's Haven does a poor job of communicating between your prospective landlord, CompHealth, and you as the provider. Miscommunication and frustration on you and your prospective landlord is a guarantee for the first two weeks of any assignment if you have CompHealth provide housing for your assignments. Once you do get housing though, it is smooth sailing from there.
