Variety of training, with an educational fund for external trainings or relevant educational materials. Good benefits. Good holiday pay.

Cons

Management is unreliable and flippant. Forced some clients to transition to community ready, minimizing available services. Keeping clients longer than necessary in locked facilities to maximize profit. For the profit and not for the client.

Pros

Flexible schedule, benefits, options to work some overtime. Non profit can help with student loans after 10 years. I have been able to change schedules several times to suit my needs with my kids and I have had flexibility to come in late on certain days to get my son on the bus. This is a huge plus for a single parent. Decent vacation time throughout year and Education hours yearly to use to get more training. Company focused on helping clients to improve recovery. Union does a good job of making sure we have a good health plan unless you are management.

Cons

Lack of organization, high management turn over. Lower pay compared to some peer jobs in say Seattle.
