Pros

Biggest benefits: 1) The health insurance. As an individual you do not pay any premium (family rates are outrageous). The deductible is low and coverage is reasonable and comprehensive - dental and vision too. 2) As a new therapist, you receive so many hours towards licensure. I had my total within 2 years. They are now reimbursing the cost of licenses. 3) You receive a certain amount of money towards, and PTO for, further education/work related expenses (think books, conferences, external supervision, etc.). 4) You learn so much from the clients. Great clinical experience.

Cons

1) Do not expect much from almost any level of leadership at the agency. They do not seem to understand or care to understand the work you do with your clients or what their needs may be. Their responses to both the pandemic and racial justice were so embarrassing and disappointing. 2) Do not expect confidentiality from HR. Certain HR staff seem to have relationships with directors and managers and will break confidentiality for their friends. Although, HR staff frequently turnover, so you likely won't speak to the same person twice. 3) Pay is exceptionally low compared to other agencies and for similar roles. The union attempts to negotiate raises but it's a long hill to climb.

We appreciate your feedback and I am sorry that you had such a negative experience. We are committed to learning and growing from it, our hope is that our new contract will bring up pay and attract more new team members to assist with the caseloads. We've also hired a new Chief Human Resources and Diversity Officer to make actionable change within the organization and in our HR department. Thank you for taking the time to write your review and I hope this response finds you well. I hope you had a restful holiday, Phil

Pros

Loved the patients and the job up until my last month there. It was great!

Cons

Nurses can do whatever they want and treat MHTs like crap. Everyone is so clickey. Always drama. If asked to pick up a shift, God forbid you say no.
