Pros

Compass provides a supportive environment to its employees as well as to the families they serve. The supervisors provide helpful and positive feedback. Compass is also far from stagnant, they are always looking for ways to grow and improve in order to better serve their families!

Cons

Due to the nature of clientele, most work is done in the afternoon and evenings, especially during the school year, which can be an adjustment if you are coming from a daytime job.

Pros

This company truly embodies their core values regarding personal and professional growth, creating an environment that is open and supportive, taking more than the necessary steps to ensure effective processes with staff and clients, and lastly being gracious and compassionate to all members involved within and around Compass. Compass provides excellent supervision to mental and behavioral health professionals, focuses on relationships, and effective treatment - and this is all done in a transparent and individualized method for each employee. Lastly, Compass is a company that truly puts employees first, regardless of their job title or experience, and is always growing, changing, and improving based on employee wants and needs. Whether that be financially related, schedule related, or your own mental health, this company will continue to find ways to make your life better.

Cons

This is a job for someone who wants to improve their personal and professional skill set by means of feedback, ongoing training, and a passion/curiosity for the population(s) being served.

Pros

Throughout my two years at Compass I have been able to expand my abilities within the field of ABA. The supervisors and members of the head office value growth and helping the employees obtain personal and professional goals. The work environment fosters compassion for the families serviced and employees. I have been able to pursue higher education with full support from my supervisors without the need to worry about maintaining full-time status. There are also great opportunities to grow within the office by conducting interviews or becoming a trainer for new employees. Supervisors engage with employees by providing feedback and encourage collaboration within the office to ensure the most effective solutions and treatments for families and clients. This is shown by ongoing trainings and meetings with the staff.

Cons

Due to the nature of working with families and their children, scheduling conflicts arise. Although, supervisors do aigret job in helping clinician obtain the hours they want to maintain either full-time or part-time status.
