Pros
* Coworkers and the people I interact with on the day-to-day is excellent * There are some interesting problems to solve for a early to mid-career professional
Cons
* Compensation is pretty low, especially considering the abysmal stock performance and equity being all but worthless * work/life balance is not respected * messaging to stockholders take preference over messaging to employees * hunger games style pitting of teams against each other to survive during massive layoffs * bashing of entire divisions during company allhands * Not much to work on for senior leaders, all meaningful projects evaporate as the company struggles to survive * Company is in a death spiral * Announcing huge layoffs way in advance in absence of any detail (how will be chosen, how many laid off) and we all speculate how many will get the ax and we're pretty sure it's more than half * Pall of fear / mistrust / apathy amongst P&E * Complete absence of leadership in guiding staff through this turmoil * Best employees are making their exits
