      Some of the brightest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with

      Leadership lost the plot. What was once a vibrant, people-first culture became a toxic environment that was tough to be a part of. Development was nonexistent and really smart people remained stuck in roles they had grown out of for many years due to how wide and flat the organization was.

      Wonderful teammates. You learn the most from talented peers.

      Cons

      Toxic from the top down. Compass markets itself as a leader, but internally it’s crippled by indifferent managers who contribute nothing and even more apathetic leadership that protects them. High performers are burned out and driven away while mediocrity thrives unchecked. Promotions and raises are completely non-existent. This is a system built to keep you in your place, and it’s working as intended.

      The NYC Tri-State (NJ/Connecticut) marketing team is pretty much run like a white girl sorority. If you're not one of them, the upward mobility will be along journey Prepare to work past 40 hours a week. Agents are unappreciative and unrealistic with turnaround times. Agents try to get you to do their work for them
