      Pros

      The Pillars of our organization are shown through the actions of our leaders, fellow colleagues and all of those that are with our patients and families in the field. Very colleague "family" oriented organization.

      Cons

      Honestly, none. If something had to be mentioned, we are still working on closing the loop to every program using the same EMR. This comes with growth that has been wonderful to be a part of!

      Pros

      Compassus has evolved over the years from a start up in '06 to a nationwide company that is thriving. There have been so many opportunities for me to grow and learn new aspects of my work. I like that we can make decisions quickly and not have to be sluggish about changing something that isn't working. We are changing the experience at the end of life for so many families and patients. It feels good to be a part of something that is bigger than I can sometimes comprehend. The impact we make in so many lives feels empowering and I love coming to work every day. I've never worked with nicer, more intelligent people anywhere.

      Cons

      Being a part of a company that has grown so much has its growing pains. I like that leadership acknowledges that fact and has been putting in place things to help us transition and work out things behind the scenes. We are working on developing people now by adding so much training, we just didn't have it in the past.

      Pros

      The great people at Compassus have a passion for the care of our patients, their families and their colleagues. I witness this everyday in all job disciplines. From our CEO, Jim Deal and COO Corina Tracy to our Volunteers there is a patient first mentality. The pay is above mid-market throughout the organization. The PTO is generous. The benefits are way above average; Compassus even contributes to each colleagues Health Savings Account when they are enrolled in the healthcare plan.

      Cons

      Career progression is average, but there seems to be an awareness of this from leaders who are working on addressing this for 2018 and beyond.
