Pros

Good Base Salary , Some good locations . Care varied greatly depending on location. Don't get me wrong, some locations offer great care.. mine just wasnt one of them

Cons

Poor Management, Inconsistent Standards between locations, Poor planning when moving into new markets No support for sales team! No sales Director except for Executive Director who has NO SALES EXPERIENCE WHAT SO EVER ! After filing expense reports it takes on average of 3 weeks to be reimbursed and you are expected to pay for all expenses out of pocket. Director is ONLY about bottom line not about good care. Care varies greatly depending on location. Some locations offer fabulous care.. mine was not one of them.

The patients and being able to help them at the end of life and manage families as well

Too much overturn of management, no clear focus, no support of management

Pros

sales training is informative about hospice regulations and does a good job of preparing new reps with information about hospice care.

Cons

They talk out of both sides of their mouths. They want you to engage referral sources in conversations that are not based on "your agenda". When you do that and your numbers are not immediately what they want, they start wondering why you aren't making your numbers. It takes time for this approach to bring forth fruit.
