Pros

Hospice is a wonderful thing and most hospice agencies provide a great service to many, many families. Many people do not understand that ALL hospice agencies are privately owned and operated. Which means, as hospice patients, you have the RIGHT TO CHOOSE your hospice agency. So, if you or someone you know is terminally ill. First, I’m very sorry, hold on to your faith, never lose hope. Then, call around to three or four hospice agencies and pick the one you like. THEY ALL EXCEPT MEDICARE and Medicare pays 100% of hospice bills.

Cons

Management refuses to allow employees who work on a computer only, all day, every day, to work from home. Management told us it was because “we’re a family “. NOT TRUE. I have a family, they are living with me, at home. I think management feels like their company is a “family business” because they all earn a wage they can live on and don’t have a insurance plan with a $4,000 deductible. Or get paid enough to not care about having a $5,000 out of pocket medical bills annually. It works like this: With their company insurance you first pay out of pocket the $4,000 deductible, that is when the insurance company starts to pay a small percentage of your medical bills. After $5,000 of out of pocket payments, then the insurance company covers you at 100%. It is the WORST insurance I have EVER had anywhere that I have worked.
